I don't know much about them, but they exist and are no doubt the longest running or continuous bike polo club or summink! think they are attached to the Hurlingham "actual" Polo club / association....i'm sure they're approachable...I know they've played at Herne Hill.....possibly a good contact for gear.....also, I just found genuine bicycle polo mallets online for 9quid each new!

went past that lit up court with rubberised surface in swiss cottage during the halloween ride last night. looks OK, but as mentioned not sure on how the surface would cope with the skidding etc

the normal polo mallet have a tiny end surface area which makes it hard to hit the balls we use. easier for dribbling, harder for smacking!

they have a much better angle for wacking the ball sideways on (a much greater surface area than either of the above techniques)...this can't be properly done with a mallet with a right-angled head....these are similar to the now deteriorating mallets at HH.
