friend put the fear of god into me about kerb strike so I'm heading down the right side of traffic pretty much constantly, then slip back to the left once traffic eases and keep a good distance from the kerb at all times. do dive down the left hand side, but only when there's an ocean of space, and I can get past with time to spare.
