Service leather saddle after wet

The Brooks Maintenance kit for 9 quid surely is a joke. Or not ? Use Clear shoe polish ?

what do you mean by "blunt"?
what color was it originally? i think staining (from the saddle) is mostly an issue if the saddle itself is stained (like a new black saddle, for example), but if you were riding it wet and it didn't stain you then, i dunno why a leather conditioner would be a problem now. did you proofhide it?[/quote]
