I've got it sorted now.
That Vector Magic thing set me up.
I was looking at it in Photoshop CS2 on Windows. Not sure what happened but it wasn't letting me play with vectors.
Vector Magic made it damn easy to convert the above graphic though. I now have a nice large spade.
