Isn't areospoke quite heavy though. If you're talking aerodynamics then possibly a good idea but for weight they're terrible.

true, aerospoke was the first in my head, but i did say carbon wheels ;)

Sweet ride. Don't know if I dare ask how much it cost to put together!

I agree aero would have been lovely - with some carbon rims - unfortunately however not made of money.
Frame from China I think.
I wanted to make it quite light, I've got a Bianchi Pista and wanted a lighter model than that - but I think maybe a full carbon fork might have been a bad idea, as not quite as hard wearing as a carbon with metal steerer. In the long run i might replace the wheels with something in more keeping and not quite so in vogue (any ideas?). Also I take your point about the bottle racks being a bit ott, but never mind.

oh sorry - frame was $450 plus $60 PP and some £60 customs.

Aerospoke aren't even carbon-fibre, are they? They're plastic, sorry 'composite'.

what about a nice carbon hub spinergy then ?!

Sadly, glad you got the bike up and running so quickly, looking good, know its feeling good as well, now come out on a social ride and I won't be the only one with a titanium bike out there...

Hippy, nice wheels - how much for a set of those? Not sure they're even in production any more so I wouldn't suggest buying them. One guy in my club has a set and reckons they're quite rare - pain to replace spokes.
Google "spinergy spox" 700c. I've seen some on ebay but they are usually 26" for MTBs. -

You're making me hungry.
Have just finished my first fixed build. Just wanted to show you all - I went for the cheesy 'on-the-bandwagon' 1980s flourescent sock stylee green rims (although probably will regret this).
Frame is an ebay Titanium unbranded thingy - also got the tip off for this from this forum.
Also wanted to say a huge thanks to both Cornelious Blackfoot from this forum and to Will at Hubjub - both of which were a great help. Cheers guys.
