Monday night. Some guy on a red lancaster racing along from High Holborn spin spin spin down along to Jamaica road, had your jeans roled down for most of the way I thought about advising you to role them up but at one set of lights you had done it already, I was looking grump and crusing along, kept catching up with you at lights.
Tuesday night Some where near Maze hill Westcombe park area guy on a pista, followed me most of the way to London bridge, I was still grumpy and cruising along wishing I had a prop for my chin so I could sleep and ride.

baddesigner
candide passed a chap at Old St roundabout at 8:30 on a very new-looking purple T J Quick frame, white deep-v's - nice colour scheme, also riding with a girl on a fixie too. Said "nice bike" as i passed but would anybody know who he is?
hello. yeps. that'd be me, though the bull-horns might be on the way out since i grabbed a pair or them white risers at the polo this sunday. might have to put a flashin light on my lid to make up for the lack of punch the new bars will have. ha! and the little lady with me is my girl vic on the pastel raleigh fixie, the mini everyone wants to ride on sundays... the bike, not the lady.
That is me indeed, and one day I will post a photo of my tiny marshmallow-coloured bike.
This is a bit of a longshot, but about a month ago I saw a dude on a dark bike, with blue rims I think, and dark hair standing fully upright (about 9ft tall in total) on his fixie with one foot on the saddle and one on his bars, going over Blackfriars Bridge towards Farringdon Road. It was really bizarre, the traffic didn't dare go near him and no one was beeping. like no one could actually believe what they were seeing. I spotted him coming up from Embankment, just thought, 'holy sht, what is up with him?'. He sat down on his saddle properly at the traffic lights, where I also stopped.
Then when we set off up Queen Victoria Street (riding properly this time) he also nearly crashed into a parked bus because he couldn't decide which way to go around it.
If you're on here, props to you for balls of steel - I do apologise for not engaging you with even a hello, as the two incidents combined made me think you were on drugs.

Shit, my mate Pete told me that he had seen the same thing, on exactly that bridge. I didn't believe a word of it.
But now, I suppose it must be true.
That is seriously mental!

vic - that guy must be mental. Perhaps he's in a circus or something.
Was anyone riding down Fulham Palace Road today, about 9:45am. Black frame, fixed. Sounded like a tractor going past and the chain looked dangerously loose.
Anyone here lock up their bike outside the Science Museum Exhibition Road entrance? I see it most days. Silver frame if I remember rightly.

I was in a rental van moving house. Would have stopped and offered a lift but was mid-move with a van full of furniture.
Hope you got it sorted.
