• lock your leg at the full extension (bottom of spin/ when cranks are vertical)
    allow this to push you off of your seat (and thus unweight the rear) and the cranks to come horizontal
    at this point push back on your back foot, and pull up on your front foot.
    the position essentially is humping the stem.

    I ride a 50:17. its just practice, practice, practice.
