Was more concerned about getting myself out of the path of oncoming traffic. Lucky nothing was behind me - that's a busy junction and not often the case. Quite scary if I think about it, so I won't think about it.

similar thing a coupl'a weeks back, bombing down caledonian road near kings X checking out which bit of traffic to go through and i hit a massive pothole, flying head over handlebars. amazingly lucky there was nothing behind, really, and escaped with a couple of grazes
