For me...
Michelin - 5 days max
Gatorskin's - 2 weeks (weapon of choice)
Verdestien's - over 2 weeks but no more than 3
Schwalbe stelvios - 10 days
I hate Armadillos so I don't use them. -
• #7
so basically your bike journeys are just one huge skid? :)
-
• #8
run a brake and save money.
-
• #9
+1 schwalbe's are shit
gatorskins last the longest, a month record
-
• #10
1yr
yeah thats right
ok so thats kinda cheating
not so long now without brakes
but i dont skid all that much, just for fun -
• #11
you ride brakeless and don't skid much?
-
• #12
yeah magic eh!
i skip stop or just slow down a bit at lights and such, its all about the flow
and i use a little mind control to make sure people leave gaps for me -
• #13
I skid for fun!
I just have a lot of fun.
Also, I don't just travel on my bike. -
• #14
how long would rubinos last on your bike i wonder andy
-
• #15
I'll be happy to test them! As long as I don't have to pay for the tyre....
-
• #16

shortest was 4 days! (bike polo helped the carnage)
longest is a month or so.
I'm riding cheapo DEDA's from condor now, and they seem to be quite resistant. -

I ride brakeless but don't skid much - more skipping and hockey stops. Get abou 3 - 4 months out of a rubino pro. Mind you I am generally pretty friendly to bike parts.

i really dont get to ride all that much
working from home means no commuteim just in front of the sewing machine alot at the moment
i still try to go out every day at least for a bitsob sob
just wondering what sort of life expectancy you guys had on tires (back ones obviously) - i seem to be chewing through them at a steady pace which is bad news considering my student budget! maybe i just need to take a chiller on the skidding...
edit for the pedantics ;)
