The philosophy of comedy. Anyone know of anyone who has studied this? I've always wondered about it. Maybe i shall be the first!
That reminds me of this old joke:

MrSmith i wasn't really philosophising on whether they were jokes, merely alluding to the fact that the statements "Needlessly Japanese Specced" and my own contribution "needless japanese superfluousness" were in my opinion real facts not jocular whimsies.:-)
