Sure flickwg, from memory the guy I saw was male, about average height (for a cyclist), was clothed, cycling in a westerly direction. You got him yet?

I spotted LOADS of fixed riders on Sunday. Didn't realise there were so many in my area. It was just at the top of Brick Lane - anyone know anything about it? They all had sticks or something - I guess this must be some sort of trackstanding aid...

I love how quickly threads turn into piss taking events! :D
"I saw him at Herne Hill, distinguishing marks included a bike that had only one gear and no brakes.."

Spotted:
Friday night, last week, about 11:30pm going West on Theobalds Rd: Guy from the social ride who was on a blue / white Condor. Wearing a blue hoody.
We shouted to each other but I couldn't remember your name. I was with Tori who was really impressed at the fixed wheel camaraderie. :-)

Mashton: Spotted riding round the 1 way system from Russell Sq to UCL. Me in a cab to a meeting (having already cycled in to work, showered and changed). You lazy twat late for work.
An uninteresting fact: Mashton lives at the end of the road I work on and works at the end of the road I live on. And the coincidence is: I work on the road Mashton lives [i]on and...oh

Who are the UCL fixies? Two who lock up next to each other, white frame, blue frame. Blue one looks like something Kiwicycles Paul was selling a while ago.
Oh and as for spotted people from the forum - billa, outside The Dove, a couple of weeks ago.

spotted two guys on red bikes (one condor, couldn't make out the other one) outside surrey quays tesco's, I was walking and I'm a bit anti-social so I didn't speak up. You might have seen me dump a half-eaten, fully mashed banana in the bin.

runcible rakan Who are the UCL fixies?
I'm a UCL fixie, but riding a fixed mtb with a rack and UPVC mudguard seems to make me pass under most people's fixed radar.

some dude on the uxbridge road / the vale riding a dark red(ish) surly with a white deep V last night around 10:30pm heading towards acton. Overtook, saw him gaining but didn't look back- by the time I got to the top of the hill he had disappeared- figured he turned off or something. Was gonna stop but was in a hurry to get home, get the old blaze on after topping out on it at work. I always reason to myself its ok to let other riders go quicker when stoned but then the race mentality kicks in and thats it...

I passed a fixed rider (or possibly singlespeed), think he had longish hair, and was about my age (19), riding a possibly blue bike possibly with either drops or bullhorns (it was dark - as in it was night, not the bike), at about 8ish pm on monday of this week at the bottom of holborn (aldwich). Chased him round that thingy that takes you from holborn onto waterloo bridge, then overtook him on the bridge at a "fancy a race?" sort of pace. Was happy to see that he was only just behind me by the other side of the bridge - quite an achievement for someone who wasnt expecting it! He wasn't behind me after the roundabout which is a shame cos i wanted to say hi.
Anyone on here?
Also I chatted to a fixed rider (black + yellow with bullhorns maybe) on kennington lane (or road), we parted company at the brixton road junction. Introduced him to the forum, but i think that he possibly thought i was insane. This was late-ish last night - possibly about 20 past 9, or maybe a little later. If you did decide to visit the forum, reveal yourself!
