Actually been meaning to tell people about this
Aldi do a weekly special buy thing, which means that every week they sell incredibly random and bizarre things for fairly cheap prices (security camera £24.99 anyone?) However, on occasion they also sell bike bits insanely cheap. My friend picked up some SPDs + shoes for some decent prices.

most of the stuff at lidl is bit crap but the dark 70% cocoa chocolate, jars of cornichons and panettone are really nice (and cheap)

i'm getting top floral notes, and a hint of rosemary.
Last night as Lidl they had,
loads of "walking tops" long and short sleave, basicly a wicking top, not polypro type standard but cheap and good enough £4.99
gillets, black with 3m refective pipeing, mesh section in back, look quite tidy purfect for the cold winds in winter £7.99
Walking poles with 30% carbon, what ever that means, but basically purfect for polo mallets, just like ski poles, £7.49
Plus they had a selection of other stuff like bum bags and a selection of nuts, bolts and washers which I found had soem wasthers which where purfect size for chainring spacers.
Anyway lotts of cheap usefull stuff in there at the moment.
