I've had my crappy old conversion (semi-horizontal droputs) for a few years now, and it's done fine.
Going down the hill this morning it felt as if the wheel might need yanking back a touch to tighten the chain. Fortunately, it wasn't until I'd nearly stopped at the bottom that the chain flipped off the front ring.
Back wheel stopped etc. Arse.
Any ideas why it might suddenly decide not to play nice anymore? Sorry for being thick.
