RPM but it depends what sites you are browsing, chain reaction, or wiggle for example, would be a pain if every click you made opens a new window.
yet when clicking external links on this site, it's nicer to get a new window, so if it's some shit you close it and don't lose your place.
yes, I know there's a back button, yes I know you can configure the browser. But really I still disagree with what you said.

Perhaps it is nicer to have a new window. Setup your browser to do it.
Anyway DK's already said he's not changing it so it seems best if you make the change doesn't it? :P
