I was making for the coast this morning when I came grinding to a halt at a set of lights, I was bloody lucky I was only setting off.
My chainring bent itself to fuck and two of my bolts had fallen out.. I dunno how the jaysus it happened. It's the most frustating thing in the world.
Now I'm considering going for a Fixed specific frame instead of upgrading the parts on my conversion to make it work better. You can't polish a turd.. So I've got a decent set of wheels so that will take the bite out of putting a new bike together.
Any reccomendations? I'm tossing around the idea of getting a Bob Jackson but they're fierce expensive.. I want something classic looking with enough clearance for a front brake and relaxed enough geometry to be able to ride long distances without feeling like dying.
