Early riser?!

My all time fave cartoon when I was younger.

there was this muppet on a blue road bike squeeze overtaking me amongst buses and HGVs round elephant roundabout last night. he's really asking for it - doesn't matter if you drive or cycle, if you endanger other people's lives on the road, you're a cnut. and a cnut is a cnut. word.

My alarm goes off at 6.45. I then hobble around until the cafedirect instant does something to my brain.
Eventually I've picked up enough crap from the table, floor and various cupboards to satisfy my workplace requirements.
Anywhere between 7.05-7.30 (depending on how many lfgss posts I make before leaving) I'm on the road.
I hate leaving at 8am. Ealing is rammed. Peds walk through cars like they're in the middle of an empty dessert. Traffic is locked. Yuk.
I have set some of my faster commute times leaving a bit after 8am though.

some bloke on a MTB trying to undertake me in busy traffic the other day,
forcing me out a bit more in to the traffic to accomodate the wee gadgie.
Being overtaken is bad enough but on the inside when there really isn't any room is just plain rude and fookin dangerous. wee shite

I would love to meet other cyclsts on the road. I commute at unsociable hours so I very rarely see anyone else on the road. When I came to London last week my girlfriend mocked my excitment at seeing all the people on bikes!

i shoulderd a ped the other day WHILE ON A BMX... it was awsome.... they will now look 2 ways beffore crossing the street.
