They're pretty similar to the System-EX in terms of quality from what I've heard.
billa system ex suck big time, when the bearings went in the rear after only 6 months it took condor 2 months to get me new ones, by that time the wheel was almost hitting both chainstays with the amount of play and all i heard was grinding for those 2 months.
try dia compe gran compe the best hubs i've ever used.
You can get replacement bearings for all cartridge bearing hubs form any bearing supply shop. It shouldn't have taken Condor that long considering you could google "bearing supply" and find replacements in about 2 minutes.
Those Gran Compes look really nice for the money, but think they only come in black.
Cool - hadn't registered all the detail in the thread! I'd go fixed/fixed cos you can still use a freewheel on one of the fixed sides if you want.
