I run miche high flange 32 hole on my commuter and they are rock solid - and I eat more cakes than Hippy! so they are under a bit of force...
get them built by a good wheel builder and they'll take the knocks and the weight [ your ride will feel a bit less 'padded' if you run high flanges on a deep section rim]
oh and I've got a pair of boxfresh CXP33 sliver 32 for sale [bought them brand new just before roberto seduced me with his CXP30's]
