Hi BillB, I've got a spare chainring cover from an RPM crankset - IIRC its 130mm 5 bolt and (I think) would cover a 44t ring perfectly. Oh, and its black.
Not sure how the whole whisper thing works - but give me a shout if you want it; I'm in SE London, but commute to Bermondsey most days.
