  • eggpie er. Colourtech are probably the best local people to touch up the colour. I dont have the number offhand, but if youre stopping by witcomb barrie'll sort you out, or mail me and Ill find it.

    jon

Colourtech 01322 555549 Ron Cooper has or did have a workshop upstairs from them when he built mine, they might even be able to let you know what days he is there to have a chat with.

  • i love the balham transfers on your bike. that's provenance and cycling folklore right there.

  • Thought I'd chip in and join you guys. Seeing as I get an honourable mention. Also takes me back to my days hacking around the smoke on fixed afore it all got trendy. Not that I am knocking it being trendy, I think it's ultra cool. I used to commute from Hither Green to Camberwell daily, worked at the college. That's how I got into Gillotts. I miss the camaraderie of Critical Mass and the Stop the City protests, even got myself on page 3 of the Guardian giving some yuppies in sports car a hard time. Sounds like it is even more of a gas down there now. Maybe I shall have to visit soon.

  • Where are you now?

  • I live in Evanton, 15 miles north of Inverness. In the bonny county of Ross-shire.

  • so whats the answer? is it sacrilige to get my fairly chipped gillott painted?

  • yes! unless you get same decals reapplied.

  • yeah i was planning on getting them, but im not to sure where would do the decals.

  • considering its got those world championship bands around the white blocs of colour on the bike, you can see what i mean in the top photos. if anyone knows where to get good gillott decals from please share.

  • Try H Lloyd transfers here HLloyd
Also give Vaz a ring even if he doesn't spray it he may be able to get transfers

  • u got rocks in your head if you re-spray that.
