My heart says 'No', but my mind says 'Fuck no!'..

Nonononono. Why are toptube protectors always so beefy?! Surely you could make a ~1mm self-adhesive layer of clear rubber/plastic that would still protect your paint fine?

i say wait for the new yanco pads to come out because i have one of the recent ones and all they consist of is pipe insulator with a bit of fabric that velcro's around it(not even attached so they slide away from eachother).
or splash out and order a reload one:)

i'd buy it if i have spare money, it's not too pricey... and use it when i feel like it (e.g. polo, skidding spree) and take it off when i don't feel like it (e.g. rain). that's how i use mine.

Steamrollers can take up to 38c tyres.
With the 28c tyres on, it makes for a real fun, comfortable bike to ride. -
• #42
I would go for the subtle leather one...
I have a Yancopad, but that is more to do with stories revolving around sudden stops, brazons, undercarriage and multiple stitches...
-
• #43
yes
-
• #44
No, your ride is much better without.
see below for more pad musings

I have to give you your seat back, as you can see I have not used it.
You don't like anything attached to your bike other than yourself.
-
• #50
is the seat a white saddle?
is it comfortable?
njet - but i do like these, white leather one would be sweet
