Long time listener, first time caller...
I've been vaguely lurking on here for the last few months. Norwich-Cambridge-London-San Francisco.
I miss London, so it's nice to check back in sometimes, and this is one of the ways I do it.
My face:
My bike:
And the view out my window:
The fixed gear scene here is incredible - there are literally hundreds of people riding. Which seems odd, given the nasty hills, but there you go. Lots of nice folks, lots of sick bikes (although a l;ot of people seem to be very NJS-obsessed), and fantastic weather most of the time.
If anyone ever comes over to visit, give me shout - it'd be nice to ride with someone that doesn't say stupid words like 'burglarize'.

[quote]dogsballs cheers peterd, paul from freshtripe is getting some white saddles as well ;)
architectom, so far (month or so) it's been fine, but it hasn't really seen water etc. as i said to mouse, if you normally keep your chain clean this is no different, just need to wipe the side with a rag.
new project :D , look at the clearance. colour is purple not blue.
[quote]mmm lokking nice.
Cheers for the headz up on the saddles (do you mean the white turbo's on freshtripe?) Currently watching a rolls on t'bay but the turbo's look sweet as well. -

lpg is it a bianchi pista frame?
Believe it or not, it's a Fuji Track with almost no original parts and a Krylon makeover.

White Turbos should be arriving just as soon as this pesky postal strike is over - I also have a lightly-used White Rolls if that's you thing...

Yeah, it also said "hi alex, you do realise you've left your student ID in your flat?" If it wasn't for unxetas' bike i'd have cycled all the way to college only to get turned away at the door! Next time i see it i'll pet it.
