  • There was an Evans megacorp catalogue waiting for me this evening.

' browsed for evidence of the continued comercialisation of single speed and fixed then came across this for 1400 quid! nearly passed it by then clocked the drop outs ......

'.....loose the back brake for sure

Anyone else clock this? Can't find out the rear spacing but suspect it aint 120mm

  • looks futuristic, i like it!
must get a matching stem, though.

  • probably a time trial bike ..?

  • where do the wheels go?

  • I think that 'Transition' is bit of marketing nod to target the Triathlon crowd

I agree that the stickers are a bit Cinelli in their subtly and would rattle-can it black were 1400 quid to drop into my hands.

' just don't quite understand why they went for horizontal dropouts - just to tempt me perhaps.....

  • so you can fide it fixed or geared.

  • Hmmm... it'd certainly be a bit special in a side-wind. Kind of looks a bit like a pretzel too.

  • or it can set off an l.s.d flash back as it looks so much like a hot lava lamp

  • just get an s-works langster frame

  • I like the way it says 'advanced design' on the stays. No shit.

  • this is the future
we'll all be riding this in 10-15yrs.

  • prefer my N.H.S twatster

  • Derailler hanger.

Horizontals are often used in TT bikes.

  • unless, of course, the design is 10-15yrs ahead of it's time.....

riding a Langster London in 10-15 months will be retro ;--)

    I like lava lamps

  • i clocked it in evans just like you
just now i clocked the rear brake, below BB
if only i had the money (thinks of possible jigilo names)
    just for the rarity

  • Rare? Every trihardalete worth his city salary salt will has one already..

    Pics from July..

  • They're clearly influencied by the Cervelos:

  • it's disgusting. i don't think i have ever seen anything this ugly in my life.

  • edited.

  • peejay78 it's disgusting. i don't think i have ever seen anything this ugly in my life.

I agree. It just looks nasty.

  • it'd look great with a rack, panniers and a wicker-basket on the front though.

  • the lightest bikes out there are about 5kgs.

But that's with gears and two brakes - imagine the same thing fixed!! 4kg bike!

  • I think it's quite sweet. About as much use as an ashtray on a motorbike, though...

(But then I like the De Rosa clearly-inspired-by-some-good-acid Tango, too)

  • there's a storck on the bike radar site that wieghs about 900grams or something.

  • Frame not complete bike! And you can get less than 900g
