scott not scot
jonnywilkinson scott, do you have plans for a smaller bag still? i normally roll with a large size timbuktu and that does me for most things including carrying enough stuff to be away for 2/3 days on the spin. what i need is something more functional for just getting about town. you know, tools, cash, waterproofs, spare pair of undercrackers.
cheers dude
i have the design sorted for my hip bag....smaller than my original prototype....just waiting on my zip which is held up for another 4 weeks....
it has a u lock pocket on the back...zip pocket under the flap, inner zip pocket with open pocket behind on the inside, main compartment, key hook, outer pen pocket, outer pump loops....fully waterproof, can be used on your own belt or with the supplied belt which can be unclipped and re-attached on extra loops to use as a shoulder strap for that 'man about town' look....err..and that's it...:)
nice one scott, i will watch this space. oh, and i will most likely request to have something embroidered on it. possible even 'man about town'

Nice bags Scott.
What you mentioned about the PAC's massive front flap, with no pockets is right. I've got a large one, and it could do with more little pockets.
Don't get me wrong, I think it's an awesome bag, just not enough little pockets! And could do with compression straps.
Ok thinking about it now it's a good bag, not awesome. Damn pockets! grrr

ts good to rant shows your passion for making bags to the superb (from others comments) standard that you make them to

^^^ you're right mate. when i was looking for a bag, they all had something missing, even the pacs (excellent as they are). that's why you've got my order!

scott not scot hehe...i've got nothing against any of the more well known bag companies...pac especially have set the benchmark for messenger bags....but i just think a lot of the companies don't utilise the vast space their bags have that well.....and whats with all the 'options'....half of them are things that EVERY bag needs, like x-straps,anti sway straps, back padding, compression straps.....stop making them 'options' just so you can charge more for the bags...it makes the stock bag price misleading, cos by the time you add all the things you need....it's added another £100 to the price.....aaahhhh......and relax....sorry bout the rant....:)
I totally agree with you about utilising space. I've been considering getting someone make me a divider thing with pockets to go in my PAC.
Backpadding and anti-sway straps should definitely be standard. I wish my PAC had compression straps, too. Ahh well it's not like I'm a courier anyway! I've noticed on my PAC it looks pretty upgradeable anyway, like it's got 4 plastic-loop rings on the bottom corners of the bag (for the cross-strap to attach, and reflective tails), which look like you could clip together to compress it down a bit.
Anyway nice bags scott, they look awesome.
