sol Just got off the phone to one of the park officials. The number i've been told to call is actually 0208 985 1957 ( whole victoria park area )

Turns out they don't have any people who work after dark (ie after office hours ) to switch them on and off so we can "play football" there.
And yes, i did ask " Isn't the whole point of the lights being there to have them switched on AFTER DARK ?". No sensible answer back though .

Nevertheless, will call back later but i wouldn't count on it, we need to find another place most probably.

erm that would be hackney council you spoke to, and i doubt they should be able to light up a court in tower hamlets...
