I'm aware of all the arguments AGAINST wearing one, and have generally gone lidless except when racing or in fast group rides.
Maybe it's middle age, or fatherhood, or the fact my mate's currently in a coma in the Royal National Neurology & Neurosurgery Hospital after coming off a bike, but I've just forked out for a new lid that I'll be happy enough to wear full-time... except during hillclimbs ;p
Another convert, yes, but I'm not going to become the cycling equivalent of a reformed smoker. Everyone else can do whatever the fuck they choose to do :-/
