Reading the 'look mama, no brakes' thread made me think of this.
Some of you may know Andy through the Fyxomatosis.com site or elsewhere.
i met him while in Aus and he is a great guys and fast cyclist.
the other week he had a freak accident, landed on his head
and ended up in a thoracic halo.
though he was really lucky, and is still walking.

Anyway, it is the law in Aus to wear a helmet.
i am yet to ride now back in the uk due to lack of bike,
but know that it is the norm Not to wear a helmet.
i will be wearing one when i get a bike sorted.
