I used to use a mag trainer back in Oz when:
I really couldn't be bothered going out (rarely, I typically prefer death from the elements to indoor training)
When I broke collarbones, etc.
When I was warming up before the odd TT.
For some semi-organised training at THE SHOP.
Given the greater amount of shit weather here.. indoor training might be a good way of prolonging bike/rider life :)
So, yeah, you could say I'm thinking about it. Seems a bit silly given I'm not even racing though.. but then so is owning a HRM..
