They made steel and alloy ones, but only up to 16t tho.
If i was you i would use a Shimano DA or an EAI ones (HubJub sells them)

Do you have an Italian hub Tommo ie is it by Miche, Campagnolo ? They use a thread 35mmx25tpi with a thread angle of 55 deg. If it's a Shimano, Formula, Suzue, Phil, etc. then it uses a BSA thread - 1.37" x 24tpi with a thread angle of 60 deg. While the differences are tiny and you can get a Miche / Campy cog on a BSA thread the contact area is reduced and you risk a stripped hub. Hope that helps

Out of interest - are EAI cogs much better than dura-ace ones? Just wondering whether its worth spending the extra tenner if I switch gearing

Both are great quality sprockets, the EAI ones are slightly more expensive, and available in bigger sizes (19t, etc).

on the velodrome track cogs are all the same EAI, Campa doesn't really matter. The British team, which we all know are the best in the world, use SJS Cycles spokets.

I tried a EAI on my Campag Record hub and it looked to me like it was too wide, should I check again...? as it sounds like everyone else runs one

i'm not sure on this, but i think campy tells you NOT to use any other cog on their hubs besides their own - it can damage the threading of the hub.

Thanks for the replies, Its for a project bike ("project Dave Yates"). I got a Record headset, BB, and hopefully a crankset when I next get paid. The wheels are Shamals. You get the Campag theme going on.
I thought a campag sprocket would go nicely with it.
The Shamal actually had a Shimano DA on it, but its a 3/32, I want 1/8. The thread on the Shamal looks ok, I threaded a Miche sprocket on no probs.
If anyone knows where I can get a 1/8 15T Campag one, or has an old one in good nick, speak to me.
I have unwanted DA sprockets and other parts I could swap or pass cash, what ever. -
