Good wind shirt got me trough the last 4-5 winters, as must in my wardrobe. Good quality waterproof for really wet days. Got given some Blacks vouchers so just bought a pair of Sealskin socks for winter (never tried em before). Overshoes too if really cold. Got decent base layers and a merino top also.
