dogsballs don't you live down sth?!
i thought swains lane was the hill rep chosen by cyclists. lot more quieter. i heard a rumour that the 2012 cycling course was going up through highgate and down to regents park, big loop?!
South Islington. I have to use as many different hills as possible round Highgate and Muswell Hill to keep motivated. I'm saving Swain's Lane till October :)
Managed a 1m31s up Muswell Hill this morning on 46x17 (lights at bottom to zebra at top). Should help to purge this lurgy I'm harbouring...

I have this poster. Back in the days when sport was done in the proper fashion.
This photo has been titled "The Smokers". look close, these guys are actually lighting up! What I want to know is, are they smoking tobac, or something a little more.....
.............. (fashionable?)[/quote]...

hippy
Taken by me with my phone on a clubrun near Woking..
Nice pic... but argh the blue! If I could be bothered to spend more than a minute or two on this I could even out the colour of the road...
I love riding through tree lined roads. All the better if there is a country pub a few corners ahead!

found this on the fixed gear gallery a while back, love the fact that the winner's wheel disintegrates as he crosses the line. check the inner tube making a leap for freedom! haha!
apparently the back reads "December 1949, Von Bueren's cycle desintegrates as he wins the Swiss Championship in Zurich. Siegenthaler finishes second, but intact."http://www.fixedgeargallery.com/2007/june/2/KeithMorris-1.jpg

They look like the same person... Maybe it's just their expressions?
Also, they both remind me of:

That's the "what the fskc did I do to deserve this life" look. On all three counts.

that finish line one can only end in tears (although back then real men didn't cry)
haha where'd you find that? I think I have a new mission to collect raleigh stuff :)
