Need a rear wheel asap

Sorry to jump onto a new forum and the first post is a want but until i get this wheel i have no fixed wheel bike to post anything about..

managed to beg, borrow and buy nearly all the parts i need i am just missing a fixed rear wheel and don't wanna payy the earth for a new track wheel...

i am in nottingham and need wheel asap as really wanna get bike finished so i can ride it... will pay a fair price and courier to get it to me..

a brand new wheel with SystemEx hub, Mavic CXP-22 will cost you £95 from Brick Lane Bikes, give them a call, I'm sure they can ship it to u... It wont be cheap though.

Anything with Formula / System-X is going to be excellent for a first-time build.

the bike shops in nottingham have come good...

Called local bike shop expecting same answer as most that they can get them in but order time etc...

The guy used to race a fixed time trial bike and still had an old rear wheel:)

£35 ... mavic hub on a wolber clincher with 16t track sprocket and lock ring... in great condition..

The mavic hub has allen bolt fixings into the bub to tighten it rather than a solid axle.. we will see how that goes..

Frame now in bike stand.. just waiting on parts that i have ordered now

works fine with phil wood hub so don't see why you would have any problems - and the guy used to race on it remember.
