Lift the back wheel and turn the cranks slowly.
DO NOT TRAP YER PINKIES TWIXT CHAIN AND CHAINRING AND/OR SPROCKET
Check the chain tension at various points. Most likely it won't be even.
You'll need a tiny bit of play (couple of mil up and down) at the tightest point.
