when i got my tricross it was my first experience of toe overlap - i hadn't heard of it before, thought it might be 'wrong' , and was worried it might be dangerous.

But, it's just not a problem, ever. I don't really understand why people are afraid of it -i guess it's cos they have never ridden a compact bike and found that it's fine.
