nothing too serious. had a nasty split developing at the top of the seat tube so had a collar welded on round it. to be honest it doesn't look that nice it is clearly a cut off from another frame welded on. but then it meant i could keep me favourite frame on the road. had it done about five months ago and have had no problems with it.
the annoying aspects were fucked up the paint (obviously) so have just covered it in hammerite and also i had bought a new seatpost for it but the collar was a smaller size. don't get a lot of choice when you get down to 26.2.
if you've fallen for the frame then definitely save it. it's how i feel about mine.
