leeww: I know! It was going to be all blue but I was running out of paint and I found an old can of white paint, and I thought well if you can do it, then I can do it too (yep, I jumped on the bandwagon)
TheDude: I stripped off the old paint (paint stripper, sandpaper etc) and cleaned off the rust... To be honest I didn't strip it as well as I should have but I ran out of sandpaper and got a bit bored :) Then put on tons of primer and the top coat. If I did it again I'd spend a bit more time sanding (before painting and between coats) as it isn't quite as smooth as it could be. I would have put on a lacquer coat too but it takes about a week to harden properly, and I wanted to have it done by the weekend!
