Take one rusted old Raleigh Silhouette (like my mother used to have)...
Add some rust remover, three cans of paint, lots of grease (elbow and lithium), a bunch of spare parts, some bargain tyres, new brake blocks, cables, two emergency bowls of chilli, half the portion control back-catalogue, a bit of cheating (at the chainring end), a kindly donated freewheel (thanks Hippy) and lots of lame excuses...
and it's a nice little singlespeed runner for the lady :)
Gonna put on some nice situpandbeg bars and if i can i'll try and score an oldschool white frame pump and maybe even a basket... Either she'll like it or I'll get a kick in the nuts for all the lame excuses for being busy :)
