if your set on the rims get hubs to match

Hubs for 32H are more common than 36H, I think... You pays your money, you takes your choice - but I wouldn't necessarily go through ebay.
I am just coming to the end of my first fix. Being a newb, and skint, I used an on-one fixed hub. Seems alright so far, but others probably have more experience.
120mm and 135mmm - each £15 -

second that. only way to go.
you can try 32-36 but you'll end up with a very unbalanced wheel in terms of tension... i really can't think of any way to spread even the tension with that configuration. don't know what'll happen on london roads you know.

36hub to 32rim is possible, but its badly advised. People have done it, but you're obviously going to be stressing the hub in ways its not designed to. It will also probably be a bitch to build up as spokes will have different tensions etc.
Plenty of nice 32h hubs to be had.

taking on board all your comments,
originally I thought it would be a bad idea, but it costs you nothing by asking.
only reason I'm looking at the hubs is that they are red, and I've got a whole red colour scheme going with the bike, red hubs, red seat, red bar tape, red chainring bolts, red rims, red headset, and I was hoping to build up a second set of wheels, so these hubs are for the future, not right now.
easiest thing would be to get hold of a 36H rim it would seem, so I'm looking as I type, any suggestions welcome, looking for something deep v esque more than likely in silver, also would need to be machined -

Well, if you can stretch to a pair of Velocitys
they come in red, machined -

The importers website says silver / black - but as you can see they do make them in red!
Perhaps import form the US?

I bought some cranks from will @ hubjub and spoke to him about importing some fir's only rim I saw with red anodizing which weren't deep v's, and his wheelbuilder wasn't convinced by them, let alone trying to get hold of them,
managed to get hold of an old pair of ambrosio's in red off t'bay which I'm going to build up. -

hi, cornelius. i thought you were ready to rumble with the wheels. did you get another set of rims from before?
Another Newbie/Stupid (delete as appropriate) question.
I'm looking at some nice 36h hubs on t'bay, and was thinking of pairing them up with some dt swiss rr 1.2 rims, but the dt swiss only go upto 32 hole, has anyone used a 36H hub, with a 32H rim? and if so did it last a long time?
I could get some 36H rims I know, but at this point in time I've got my heart set on those dt swiss ones. I know people like the open pros on here, and I'm pretty sure I can do without getting the deep V's, but does anyone have any other 36H rim alternatives if the 36H hub to 32H rim proves to be a very stupid thing to do...
