so unless you want a slightly darker blue then there is no point waiting is there?
and the lighter the blue the better. so why wait? -

well, i'll tell you, Smiffler.
the only frame they had left in a 58 ( which is what they measured me up as) was the light blue. Now, I love the light blue, but you have it, and while that needn't be a huge problem, i don't want to see your face when i'm fucking my bike. Also, perhaps more importantly, i rather like the sound of both the Charcoal and the dark blue, so am eager to see them.
I also want to feel that i had a choice, dammit!

You don't wanna ride down to the pub together on matching bikes either...
Well.. maybe you do? Who am I to judge.. ;)

don't get the light blue! i don't really want to see you fucking your bike either.
i would ask them for the ral colour of the darker blue, have a look, decide it's shit and get a charcoal grey one. it's a really nice colour. -

well, we'll just have to wait and see, won't we. i want to see the whole bike and new decals really
-

you don't look at the decals when you're riding it..
and if you sit looking at your bike whilst it's sat in the hall then you are sadder than sad and need help.
you would also be sitting in the hall. which in your case, isn't as nice as inside the flat.

if i'm going to spend nearly a million pounds on a bike, then i want it to look good.
Even your Bareknuckle is an anti-statement -you like the fact it has no decals etc, you like the way it looks.

RPM you don't look at the decals when you're riding it..
Is that like "you don't look at the mantlepiece when you're poking the fire"?

I got it because it was one of the only cheap steel track frames around at the time that I could get delivered without waiting.
the fact it's plain is a bonus, if there had been an equal frame with decals for less money I'd have got that instead.
I am poor, don't you see.
