It is very nice, bought items off the seller before, so know the products are good, but really trying to keep cost down, so got my eye on secondhand ones at the minute.
Thought I might get some sexy Paul Vees - but they went up at the last minute! Still, not unexpected!
Now, i'm sure you're all aware of the mammoth task i had getting the post out of my Trek donor frame... I now need to get a post for the rebuild.
I tried the post out of my MTB 27.2mm but it felt a bit tight, I measured the distance and it reads as 27mm.
Do I need a slimmer post and a shim, or should will it loosen off with a bit of wet and dry (thinking it might be a bit tight after removal of seized post)?
