LondonFGSS-on-sea - Brighton fixies

Elvis preston park is a nice track, more like a running track than a velodrome though! i went down most wednesdays this summer and the racing was excellent. most fixed riders there are just for the track though. but as pip says the fixies are around. i know a few of the buys you mention pip in passing but it's still a small scene i reckon. must admit, i kinda like it that way. as kelvin says, curse of the "white horror" hasn't hit us yet. all the hipsters in brighton ride shoppers :D

The hipsters wont take over Brighton as there are 2 things you need for riding a fix in this city that a hipster would never allow himself to be seen with.

1. Dropbars for going up the hills.
   
2. Front brake for going down the hills.
