Anyone got a 700c rear wheel they could possibly part with. SS or Flip-flop.

My girlfriend's just come home with a bent up wheel on her road bike.
Some idiot opened the door of his parked car and made her flip her bike up bending the rear as it came down. Fuckwit!
Apart from her badly bruised leg, she's now enquiring about going singlespeed which is a 'pleasant' result.
"Don't ever use my gears and the chain fell off" she said.

I can trade for cash, drop bars, new steel MKS clips, or my own designed t-shirts. Not a great deal to offer really!

Todd i got a ritchy SS rear wheel doing not alot at my gaff, need truing as its bit wobbly but it would do for a starter wheel for single speed....dont want much for it,the tshirt thing sounds interesting

todd i got, these rear 700c wheels. A brand new decathlon wheel (black rim) 32 spoke, with dmr convertor and 16T cog. Or another decathlon wheel with crows feet lacing (28 spokes, in pairs), that has a full 9 cassette. Both a dead straight and perfect bearings

I'm thinking of getting rid of my time attac's in favour of something that won't grab my feet so passionately.. I don't really skip/skid stop, so I don't need this much "security". I'd trade attacs and cleats for something else!

They're scratched and all, but have only been used for 2-3 weeks tops..

unxetas, do you what those 27's for the polo bike?? you could locktight a ring on the rear, going dirt cheap.

yes I do! I thought the frame was 700c but just checked and it needs 27" wheels.. so yeah, I'll have them :)

I've got one, SS sachs hub laced on ambrosio rim... 120mm OLN standard 42mm chainline. hub is unsealed but regreased with phil wood grease 2 weeks ago and have not been used. you can have the armadillo + michelin superlight tube on it as well for a bit more trade/cash

Anyone got an old freewheel (not fixed) cog they don't want? I'm doing up an old beater for a lady and thought it might be easier to make it SS than fix all the gears up... Don't have much to offer but happy to part with a few $$. The more teeth the better (the lady hasn't ridden in ages).

am looking for 531c or 531 frame to swap with for use as a polo bike What have you got

Frame comes with Shimano bottom bracket and headset will check what variety probably 105's that I fitted NO FORKS

ok, need stuff for the polo bike:

-seat post, 25.4mm and seat.. non-leather please!
-1" quill stem, shortish reach..
-18 or bigger sprocket and chain, 1/8"
-bars maybe? decathlon have some beautiful bars for 7 quid, so might not be worth looking any further.. but if you have something special and cheap, let me know!

All of this should be really cheap, I don't mind ugly and rusty, as long as it's somewhat straight and works! :D
