anything made of 100% heavyweight cotton doesn't breathe as well as other fibres, makes you sweaty, is heavy.
when wet it takes ages to dry ..

not my bag anyway. army surplus trousers are £3, polyester/mix and you can cut them down to whatever. ride all day/work all day. that's what I prefer for cycling.
Jeans are for posh nights out. (I bought some Levis in 2001 which are still going strong)
