more bikes on the road = more cnuts not in cars = more ppl empathise with cyclists = cool.
I think we generally all agree on this.
Getting back to thread subject tho.....
My missus is away at the mo, so I'm unusually doin the school run with my kids AM & PM, on our bikes (not fcuking 4X4! ((steroetyping again!!!)).
This is GR8, coz it means I get to commute to Regent St. much later then usual. Loads of traffic. Mugs...just sitting in there cars for ages and ages and ages ((oops, steroetyping again!!!))
Waiting outside my sons primary school for the gate to open, all his 10yo mates start to arrive on there little MTBs and then start furtively ogling my bike. Later, when he gets home from school, my son tells me how cool all his mates thought my bike was!! and 'was that your Dad?' (lol).....
So the seeds are being sewn.
Oh yeah. Shame to spoil a good story(?), but I should point out that I ride a shabby, fairly standard Langster.
