Yeah, those welds look like keloid scars!
Having done welding in the past, I've developed a low tolerance for dodgy welds. Seeing the cheapo mountain bikes in Halfords practically brings me out in a rash. I do appreciate that there's a big difference between welding steel and aluminium alloy, however.
