  • good score aidan! i'm feeling a bit jealous to be honest!

dicki, think aidan's looking for a shopper now, check the polo thread, i want one myself!

  • [cite]Momentum[quote]Dental floss is extremely strong and easy to get hold of. Also completely water resistant. I've used it for fixing backpacks etc when away in the mountains. You can even use it to clean your teeth.[\quote][\cite]

The uses of dental flos increase. I met a bloke in a pub who used dental floss soe up his face after being mugged. Sterile and strong.

    Nice new ride adian

Since I discovered the guy in Rotherham I always send my lightweight racing tubs to him as he does such an excellent job, if they're training or old, cracked tubs I fix them myself or chuck them away.

Which guy in Rotherham is that? Mind sharing the details?:)

  • nice work. ebay turns up some gems. like 1% of the time but its still worth it.

sells tub spares, glue, tape, extensions etc too.

  • sorry for hijacking your thread Aidan....talking about tubs

  • The last checkpoint I worked in an alleycat was sufficient time to repair a punctured tub I brought with me. Also wrapped some bars, irritated an old man, had a few beers, patched all the punctured tubes in my bag... Lots of time involved working checkpoints!

  • thanks for the input guys..

Hmm I may work one some time, seems like the purfect time to catch up on of thoes must do chores!

  • Winston, thanks!

  • shit hot

  • aidan you lucky boy, i'm still hot with jealousy, don't let me see you with it :P
haven't seen you around for a while actually. but hell i want to have a real look at those forks! and hey, flip that stem over will you?

  • ye flip the stem over, and get yourself a gum shield, look like you're going brakeless

  • sweet mate. what a bargain!

  • Nice ! Cheap ! And historical !!

  • Are there any maker's mark on the frame? Cougar loved to have their logo everywhere!

I'd put a nice quill stem on instead of that A-head adaptor thingy. Other than that, it's such a nice score! I notice the seller described the parts wrong, such as 'stronglight' crankset instead of Campy... Nice one.

  • good score aiden, nice frame

  • thanks guys,i know the stem is a bit sh*t...but hey i just got it!
mike: cant see any markings on the frame and last time i looked i couldnt see a serial number on the bb..il have another look in a bit...yeah i dont know the deal with the lack of info on the ebay page,i would have deffanatly said about the cappy cranks and bottom bracket and the stronglight headset!..oh well cheaper for me!
ed:ive had loads of sh*t to do recently and havent had time to get out...i should be at polo on sunday.
