Can you buy the frame alone? Hangon are you talking about the Condor or the Pearson?
When nimhbus mentions the addition of carbon posts, etc. Why not buy these parts online? You get more choice, bit cheaper and have a spare.
Things like tyres too - just kill the stock ones before buying new ones.
Also, how flexible are Pearson on price? All places will have some flex built into marked prices. I never buy shit like that without haggling. Even if they wont bend on price they would at least throw stuff in free.[/quote]
Yeah, you're right there. i did wonder what the point was in paying them for the seatpost etc. i guess partly you just want to get the finished article, rather than have a list of bits still to do, but it makes sense.
I'll try a bit of a haggle, but it's harder when they are the only supplier of that bike! can hardly claim i'll go somewhere else, after all!
