Well, it's probably not quite enough to make me vote for a tory, but it's a close thing. And the man's just had his bike nicked - 7th time in 7 years apparently! What's he locking it up with - a piece of string?

i get along fine with buses, maybe because i'm a crazy cyclist and don't get bullied around on the road.

probably cos most cyclists are slow

trust me, i've acquired much bus experience in the last week! and drivers find it harder to overtake. still, ive not experienced any bad driving.

also, bendy buses are awesome! especially if you're a student like me, because they're freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

That they are (free) until you come up to the next bus stop and there are 15 ticket inspectors and 30 policemen waiting to storm the bus and slap £50 fines on you!!! beware !!!

I was forced to hit a BMW yesterday as he over took me when he kept on reving hard behind me so I wacked his mirror as he passed within 6" of me. He then spent the length of Southampton roe trying to race in front of me and trap me between the railings and his car. He kept on promising to touch me.

ahh, how nice of him. i had a crazy russian try to kill me by mounting the pavement numerous times when he thought i hit his bashed up crap mobile. funny at the time!

I often have to politely tap on cars or windows to remind drivers that I am still there on the roads. Its not as bad here in Aus as the roads are bigger and they have more bike lanes. But back in England ppl give you all of about 10 cm width to ride in, unless you ride a foot or more out from the pavement and then they'll only give you 10cm ontop of that so its kind of a no win but its best to not ride over the storm drains and shit.

Or just carry an old ticket. The amount of times I've been on buses with an old pass and the inspectors have come along, checked it and not even noticed it was weeks out of date.
