ffub In Safari you can get the address of the picture by right clicking on it, and then selecting "Open image in a new tab". Go to that tab and select the url from the address bar.

For those who are using a Mac mouse that would be Control Click - and then Open image in a New Window or Open Image in a new Tab (if you have got tabs swithced on)
