Hey there. Just joined the forum this evening and I thought I'd say yo.
I built a fixed wheel after my friend convinced me to go for it, and I'm loving every minute of it! Much better than my old mountain bike..
I built it out of an abandoned Paganini frame, still had brakes, crankset, handlebars etc on it so that saved me some cash. The rest is all stuff I got from a local shop. I won't be doing that again now that I know what I'm looking for. It's still a work in progress.. but I'm sure you all can understand!
Aaanyway, I live in Dublin and the only people I see on fixers are couriers and my mate. I dunno if it's really caught on here or what.
